Originally opened in 1928, the Ambassador Hotel has been a fixture of the Near West Side neighborhood for nearly 100 years. In 2005 the hotel underwent extensive renovations and restoration leading to what it is today, an Art Deco gem that stuns all who enter.

We Are Pet Friendly
We welcome dogs as part of the family and offer a comfortable, pet-friendly experience. Well-behaved dogs that are under 30 pounds are welcome in designated guest rooms. Guests are asked to follow hotel pet guidelines to ensure a pleasant stay for everyone. There is a one-time $50 non-refundable fee per reservation. Dogs over 30 pounds require management approval.
Service animals are always welcome and are accommodated in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), with no additional pet fees or restrictions applied to trained service animals.
Parking
We offer secure on-site parking with a covered parking structure as well as a surface lot. Both are on hotel property. Access to the parking area is via a gate using the Parqex app. Guests scan the provided QR code and enter the required information, including the vehicle's license plate number. To enter and exit the gate guests may either scan their guest room key or use the QR code that is generated on the app once the vehicle is registered. Guests may pre-download the app and register vehicles via the link below.
Restaurant Guests:
Parking is complimentary with validation from the restaurant staff. Proof of purchase is required to obtain parking validation.
Hotel Guests:
Parking is offered at the rate of $30 per night.
Hourly, Daily and monthly parking is also available at the rates that are posted at the gate entrance.
Complimentary Shuttle
We offer complimentary shuttle service to anywhere in the downtown area within our boundaries as described below. The shuttle departs the hotel at the bottom of the hour. It picks up guests around the top of each hour.
The shuttle services downtown Milwaukee North to North Avenue, South to National Avenue / St. Luke's hospital, East to the lakefront and West to American Family Field.
Reservations are recommended. Guests without a reservation will be accommodated on a first come, first served basis. During peak traffic times there may be an extended wait due to circumstances out of our control.
When guests are ready to be picked up from their destination simply call the shuttle driver using the number below.
